The second CRYSTALLIZED™ Abaya Design Awards was a great success! Our 10 finalists worked day and night to design a make a stunning collection of Abayas. The designs were on display for public viewing for 3 days and then hit the catwalk for a stunning fashion show & final judging.

The judges had the extremely tough job of selecting the winners! Let me introduce you to them:

• Bansri Gagwani, Creative Service Centre Manager at Swarovski Middle East. She works very closely with the fashion industry inspiring designers with new ideas and product innovations from Swarovski.
  
• Adel Abu Haliqa, General Manager of Abu Haleeqa Stores.
  
• Designer Ahmed Al Reyaysa, from Dar Sara Fashion – better known as UAE's King of Wedding Dresses.
  
• Rana Zakki, Operations Manager at the Abu Dhabi Ladies. Club  
   
• Virginie Dolz, Creative Designer at Space & Flower LLC.

All the finalists' hard work paid off when their designs were shown on a professional catwalk stage - an incredible first step in the careers of these aspiring new designers.
