Winners Annoucement!!

The 10th edition of the CRYSTALLIZED™ Young Designers Award was a great success! The CYDA is a contest aiming to throw the spotlight on undiscovered talent looking for their break into the notoriously tough fashion industry.

The competition featured 2 categories, a student category and an amateur category. A total of 20 finalists from both design categories were selected and these finalists have worked very hard to bring their ideas to life and see their wedding dresses being modeled on the catwalk of The Bride Show Dubai.

As is tradition for the Awards, a theme had been set for entrants to take inspiration from. For 2009, the designers were asked to reflect the theme 'Gypsy Rose' in their design, evoking the essence of the theme - which a raw, edgy look to the designs yet still remain feminine.

The designs were on display for public viewing for 3 days and then hit the catwalk for a stunning fashion show & final judging.
